Hi Experts,

Is it possible to install hdp 2.5.0 via domain account. ie. During installation can I submit "SSH user account" to domain name and proceed for installation. OR

It require only "root" account OR It require normal local user account created on linux all servers.

Any reason you are installing 2.5.0. Would advise you install 2.5.3. Version 2.6 has also just been released.

You don't have to install Ambari as root, you can install as non-root as described below:

and those service accounts need to exist on the OS in the cluster, but Ambari can handle that. You can also sync with LDAP/AD.

To answer your question on installing from a domain account, not ever heard of that, and not aware that this is a supported option.
