HDP 2.5 Sandbox services not starting after reboot

HDP 2.5 Sandbox services not starting after reboot

Rising Star

We have a VMWare virtual machine with HDP 2.5 Sandbox, and some work done in it.

Unfortunately, the machine was powered off, and after rebooting, basic default services like the Welcome Screen (port 8888) or Zeppelin (port 9995) or Ambari are not listening to requests anymore.

Current listening:

Thanks,

I could not. Just pulled what I needed from inside the docker machine, and created a new sandbox.

You can cp using docker command line:

docker cp <containerId>:/file/path/within/container /host/path/target

Hope it helps!

Cheers.

Hi Fernando,

I am sorry if I am asking basic question here.

How to know the container Id where our content is present. Moreover I need to copy stuff on Nifi , how to know path with in container. (/file/path/within/container).

Many thanks,

Ankur
