HIVE is stuck

HIVE will not load, and is stuck at this message:

Logging initialized using configuration in jar:file:/usr/hdp/2.5.3.0-37/hive/lib/hive-common-1.2.1000.2.5.3.0-37.jar!/hive-log4j.properties

If it is hive CLI and you are using tez, if needs one container to start Hive CLI. See if your default queue is either full or does not have enough capacity for a container. You can also try with Beeline.
