Hadoop init scripts missing below /etc/init.d

Hadoop init scripts missing below /etc/init.d

Hi All,

 

I installed 4 node cluster on vmware workstation, here my question is hadoop-hdfs-namenode scripts and other scripts related to starting and stopping hadoop services are not available below /etc/init.d ….

 

Please help me why this hadoop scripts are not available below /etc/init.d.

If you use Cloudera Manager to manage the cluster, services are started and
stopped by the Cloudera Manager agent and not using scripts under
/etc/init.d.
