Have appeared for Hortonworks Spark certification yesterday.

In the question, they have specifically highlighted in bold to write a script that will get executed in Spark-shell. But, hortonworks informed that writing solutions in either Pyhton or Spark is acceptable as part of Exam Objectives. Can someone provide more clarifications on this??

You can execute the exam tasks in either Scala or Python shells.
