Health Report mismatch between Resource Manager view and Ambari Host Dashboard

Contributor

Hi All,

I noticed this today.

The resource manager Node View shows that there is issue with DH07 log directories :

1/3 local-dirs are bad: /nfs/hadoop/yarn/local; 1/3 log-dirs are bad: /nfs/hadoop/yarn/log

A look at the disk partitions give the below. There seems to be plenty of space in there

[root@dh07 ~]# df -h
Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on
/dev/mapper/VolGroup00-LogVol00root 13G 854M 11G 8% /
tmpfs 32G 16K 32G 1% /dev/shm
/dev/sda1 485M 57M 403M 13% /boot
/dev/mapper/VolGroup00-LogVol00tmp 1.2G 44M 1.1G 4% /tmp
/dev/mapper/VolGroup00-LogVol00usr 30G 4.5G 24G 16% /usr
/dev/mapper/VolGroup00-LogVol00var 151G 7.2G 136G 6% /var
/dev/mapper/VolGroup00-LogVol00data 1004G 486G 468G 51% /data
dh03:/ 78G 28G 47G 38% /nfs

The Ambari Dashboard does not indicate any issues with DH07 and has the following

I am trying to understand if this is symptomatic of some other issue that i should be looking into.
