I have followed the HiveODBC guide specfically the sections applicable to Windows and kerberos on Windows. Our goal is to leverage this driver for connecting MSSQL to HIVE (via a linked server).

The repeatable scenario I have is:
1 - UserA logs in to windows server
2 - UserA leverages ODBC control panel to simply "Test" connectivity to HIVE instance
3 - Test is successful
4 - UserB logs in to same windows server
5 - UserB leverages ODBC control panel to simply "Test" connectivity to HIVE instance
6 - Test is successful but credentials uses to authenticate to HIVE are form UserA not UserB

This is repeatable 100% of the time and clearly problematic.  We have tried variations on the documented procedures with mixed results (unique cache files, using in memory MSLSA cache etc).

Does anyone else have this driver working in a multiuser scenario?  Support has not been able to help in the slightest.
