Hive Shell Connection Issue

New Contributor

When am trying to connect Hive shell getting below error.

I have tried to resolve this issue by moving the below files to /tmp.

slf4j-api-1.7.25.jar

slf4j-log4j12-1.7.25.jar ... But still its not working...

Am using HDP 3.1.0.0.78

/usr/hdp/3.1.0.0-78/hadoop/bin/hadoop jar /usr/hdp/3.1.0.0-78/hive/lib/hive-beeline-3.1.0.3.1.0.0-78.jar org.apache.hive.beeline.BeeLine  shell -n root -p root
Connecting to jdbc:hive2://wps01:2181/default;password=root;serviceDiscoveryMode=zooKeeper;user=root;zooKeeperNamespace=hiveserver2
Error: org.apache.hive.jdbc.ZooKeeperHiveClientException: Unable to read HiveServer2 configs from ZooKeeper (state=,code=0)
Beeline version 3.1.0.3.1.0.0-78 by Apache Hive

Also add below sed command into hive.distro file resolve this

CLASSPATH=`echo $CLASSPATH| sed 's/\/usr\/iop\/4\.1\.0\.0\/hadoop\/lib\/slf4j\-log4j12\-1\.7\.10\.jar//g'`

Referred - https://www.slf4j.org/codes.html link ... Still the resolution given there to edit pom.xml file.

Am trying in command prompt to connect Hive shell.

Please help me to resolve this issue
