Hive version - 1.1..2

Hadoop Version - 2.7.2

I get the above given error when I try deleting and creating tables. Hive is not allowing to create or delete tables. Kindly help

Could you share your hive configs (that one related to DB)?

I saw some people having the same issue, and their solution was to initialize their Metastore using this tool.
