Hortonworks Sandbox on a VM - docker

Explorer

I am new to this stuff. I was planning to learn by trying this tutorial - Analyzing social media customer sentiment with Apache NIFI. To begin with the tutorial says download and install sandox. I got to the page as shown in the screenshot. I wanted to try using docker. I've installed docker on my machine. I downloaded the docker one from the screen shown on the screenshot. Some 11 gb file. What do I do next.? How do I install sandox.?

Advice Please -

Not really sure as to where to start from. Is there anything I should learn before trying out this stuff. Apache NIFI works on my machine. Watched couple of videos about it.

Please Help.

Hi Shailesh,

Be sure to have the right sandbox as there are different sandboxes for:

- Hortonworks Data Platform (HDP®) 2.6.1

- Hortonworks DataFlow (HDF®) 3.0

If you just want to play with NiFi, the HDF sandbox is for you.

You can follow this link to import the Docker image:
