Hi I have tried this steps from cloudera : https://docs.cloudera.com/documentation/enterprise/6/6.3/topics/how_to_configure_cm_tls.html#concept....

But upon generating my csr file. I'm stuck on submitting my csr to CA so that I can generate a pem file.

openssl x509 -in /opt/cloudera/security/pki/$(hostname -f).pem -noout -text
unable to load certificate
140375445424016:error:0906D06C:PEM routines:PEM_read_bio:no start line:pem_lib.c:707:Expecting: TRUSTED CERTIFICATE

what will I do after generating csr?

@Mondi This depends on if you are using internal CA or external. Either way you have to get a signed cert.

This article can give you an idea how to submit the csr to CA.
