How to change the authentication method on Impala pages protected with a username and password?

New Contributor

We needed to protect the Impala inflight query page (http://server.company.com:25000/inflight_query_ids) and enabled a login and pwd in the Impala Configuration page.  It appears to be using Digest authentication.

However, we also have a healthcheck enabled from our F5 VIP to check if Impala was still up.  Now that we enabled a login and pwd on the pages, the F5 can't login to perform the healthcheck because it only supports Basic, NTLM, and Negotiate authentication (or all the documentation that I could find said that) and I keep getting a HTTP 401.

Where can I change the authentication type so I can change it to something the F5 VIP can use?  Thanks.
