How to download and install CDP Data Center

Hi Team,

(i) I tried to download and install the CDP Data Center. But I was restricted to have the CDP Data Center customer access. How do I get this access to download the CDP Data Center.

(ii) So, I tried to download the CDP Data Center Trail.

It throwned me to complete the Terms and Conditions form and I did that.

Then I clicked the Submit button and it redirected to the Trail Installation page and I could see the below things on that page.

• detailed CDP system requirements and pre-requisites
• a note about trial installations
• instructions on how to begin an automated CDP trial installation

I have gone through all the links in this page but I didn't see the download option.

Also, I could see the below instructions on this page.

$ wget https://archive.cloudera.com/cm7/7.0.3/cloudera-manager-installer.bin

$ chmod u+x cloudera-manager-installer.bin

$ sudo ./cloudera-manager-installer.bin

I have installed VMware Workstation in my system. How do I begin the installation of CDP Data Center Trail on VMware workstation with these instructions.

I'm not an expert myself but I've put in bold the key part of the instructions that I see.

Installation instructions:  Type the following at a Linux command prompt to begin an automated CDP installation.

$ wget https://archive.cloudera.com/cm7/7.0.3/cloudera-manager-installer.bin

$ chmod u+x cloudera-manager-installer.bin

$ sudo ./cloudera-manager-installer.bin

Can we execute this commands directly in VMware workstation.

I am not sure the Vmware workstation contains Linux or not as am new to this. Could you please assist me on this.
