How to integrate Cloudera manager with OpenLDAP through CLI or API?

New Contributor

Dear Community,

I want to integrate Cloudera Manager with OpenLDAP automatically through our installation. How can it be done with Cloudera Manager API (or through command line)?

I didn't find any documentation related to this. All info is highly appreciated!

Super Guru

Hello @qkuc,

You can update the configuration via the Cloudera Manager API.

See the following:

https://cloudera.github.io/cm_api/apidocs/v15/path__cm_config.html

To view your current configuration, you could use:

http://cm_host:cm_port/api/v14/cm/config?view=full

You can use the REST, Java, or Python API to update the configuration.  If you wanted to use the command line, you can use curl and the REST API
