How to manage a existing HDP cluster using new ambari

Hi All,

Can anyone advice on how can i manage a existing HDP 3 cluster with a new ambari manager?

What happened is our old ambari manager had a database corruption and is no longer able to be recovered. We need to think of ways to make a new ambari works again.

We researched a lot on pass topics like using restful api and stuff, but we are not sure how it works.

We are running out of ideas. Please advice.

Thank you for the respond sir,

We do not have backup for ambari database. so the steps provided by guide is not applicable.

We would like to keep our existing data inside hdfs, hence rebuild it from zero if not what we want as well.

We are seeking of ways to use a new ambari and manage a existing HDP cluster.
