Hello

What the NiFi server exposes/provides is a RESTFul API. If you attach your web browser to it you'll get a visually friendly UI. You can lock down access via 2-Way SSL in HDF 1.0 and in the upcoming HDF 1.1 you can also do username/password with active directory or directory server via LDAP.

Thanks

Joe

Thanks for the reply Joe, I was wondering more like integrating with Ozzie and so on directly. NIFI is cool we could quickly develop prototypes and demonstrate concepts cutting coding cycles.

Does Horton-works have reference to production customers using it...I guess it might be to early to ask. If yes, it would be exciting to hear a case-study.

We will wait for HDF 1.1 and see it would be good to see AD or LDAP or user isolation and direct integration with traditional schedulers.

Anyone knows when HDF 1.1 will be available?
