How to upgrade hbase to latest/beta version from Github in HDP.

I am looking to upgrade hbase 1.1.2 to hbase 1.2.0 in HDP 2.3.2

Can anyone help me to get the steps for smooth upgrade.

we don't support upgades from HDP to Apache. Please wait for official release. What exactly is it you need from latest branch that you feel you need to upgrade?

Not sooner than in the Apache, probably will know at the Hbasecon 2016 conference end of May.

HBase Spark integration will be available much sooner than HBase 2.0. Should be a month or two.

@vipin kumar no HDP 2.5.3 ships with HBase 1.1.2 but a few features from 1.2.x branch were backported to 1.1.2. What specifically are you looking for?
