I am unable to login to Falcon UI with kerberos enabled cluster using LDAP username.

I am unable to login to Falcon UI with kerberos enabled cluster using LDAP username.

I am trying to login to Falcon UI with my MIT kerberos user in a kerberos enabled environment. I am using Google Chrome browser . When I hit the falcon UI browser, a pop-up comes for the username and password. When I give the username and password , from the inspect element it is seen that the Login API is taking the default username as "falcon" . It should have taken the username which i have entered i.e, "vagarwal"

http://192.168.1.75:15000/api/admin/version?user.name=falcon

It doesnot take the username that I give.

Error of the API is :

Error 403 GSSException: No valid credentials provided (Mechanism level: Failed to find any Kerberos credentails)

HTTP ERROR 403

Problem accessing /api/admin/version. Reason:
GSSException: No valid credentials provided (Mechanism level: Failed to find any Kerberos credentails)

Powered by Jetty://
The same is working for Macbook after doing kinit from the MIT kerberos user and we are able to login to falcon UI using the MIT kerberos user i.e, "vagarwal"

I am using Windows 8 and it is not working in my laptop.

Hi @Ram Baskaran

Thank you for the link . I followed the same

https://community.hortonworks.com/articles/28537/user-authentication-from-windows-workstation-to-hd....

This didn't worked . Still, falcon username is taken by default by the falcon Login API . i.e,

http://192.168.1.75:15000/api/admin/version?user.name=falcon
