Installing oozie in single user mode Cloudera Manager 5.4.1

Installing oozie in single user mode Cloudera Manager 5.4.1

Explorer

Hi,

I'm installing CDH 5.4.1 using CM 5.4.1 and when I'm adding Oozie it fails as it tries to write to /var and there's no where I can change that.

These are the errors I receive in STDERR:

+ env TOMCAT_CONF=/opt/cloudera/parcels/CDH-5.4.1-1.cdh5.4.1.p0.6/lib/oozie/../../etc/oozie/tomcat-conf.http TOMCAT_DEPLOYMENT=/var/lib/oozie/tomcat-deployment OOZIE_HOME=/opt/cloudera/parcels/CDH-5.4.1-1.cdh5.4.1.p0.6/lib/oozie bash /opt/cloudera/parcels/CDH-5.4.1-1.cdh5.4.1.p0.6/lib/oozie/tomcat-deployment.sh

To overcome this I tried to manually create /var/lib/oozie and chown oozie:oozie /var/lib/oozie but I'm still getting these odd messages:

STDOUT:

JAVA_HOME=/usr/java/jdk1.7.0_67-cloudera
using 5 as CDH_VERSION
using /var/lib/oozie/tomcat-deployment as CATALINA_BASE
/var/lib/oozie/tomcat-deployment doesn't exist

STDERR:

Thanks,

Daniel

Seems like a bug in CM, nothing I do resolves it except creating /var/lib/oozie and granting permissions to cloudera-scm on it
