Integrate two different instance of Ranger

Integrate two different instance of Ranger

Contributor

Hi,

I was wondering how can I integrate two different instances of Ranger? I am using two separate cluster each one manage by different Ranger. I am using TDE on both of cluster managed by Ranger-KMS. How can I integrate these two clusters from the encryption zone point of view? Let's say I have a central KDC shared between these two clusters.

Multi-cluster management is not (yet) supported by ranger ..

Basically, this is not a multi-cluster management. I am looking for a way to integrate two different Ranger instances.

Re: Integrate two different instance of Ranger

Could you elaborate on what integration you are looking for?

1- An authorised user on Ranger 1 needs to have access to Ranger 2 cluster (Without TDE)

2- An authorised user on Ranger 1 needs to have access to corresponding user encryption zone at Ranger 2 (with TDE)
