Is it possible to get CDH somehow to play at home? My login is not permitted to download from archives. I tried CDP but it is hard to configure to use on my notebook.

         Sure You can play,explore, please try with the "trial version" of CDP. with the existing credentials

        1. Simply go to Downloads and login with your credentials 

        2. choose CDP free trial 

        3.  it will land you to explore get CDP  binary file

                 https://www.cloudera.com/downloads/cdp-private-cloud-trial.html.html

        4. As i built the five node cluster with aws-cloud flawlessly.

        5. Try it on cloud with aws free tier
