Is there any way to export Metadata of Hive, Impala or any other component from Cloudera Navigator

Hello Folks,

I was browing through the metadata management through Cloudera Navigator however could not find any export option to export the metadata to Excel.

Is there a possibility or a way to export metadata of Impala or Hive to excel?

Hi,

I don't think there is a solution to export hive / impala metadata directly into excel file.

You can export metastore to sql dump :

Then, convert the sql dump to csv file :
