Hi,

I want to install CM5.5.0 and CDH5.5.0 by parcel file. But when I start the cm , put the parcel file in the path /opt/cloudera/parcel-repo , and start the process of install , the  cm show a message "It will not show the newest verson of CDH for the cloudera manage (5.5.0)". why?   when I put the CDH 5.3.8 into the repo, it could show correctly.  Please help, thanks!

You need to allow Cloudera Manager to detect and download the parcel from a repository.

Please review the instructions here if you cannot use the public repository to download the parcels:

Cheers,

Hi Deepak,

Have you created a local repository or going to use cloudera's repository?

Thanks,

When installing, click the More Options page and add a new URL to specify the version of CDH you need.

If you want 5.3.8, add this URL:

https://archive.cloudera.com/cdh5/parcels/5.3.8/
