KNOX - What is the topology for NODEUI (NodeManager) please?

KNOX - What is the topology for NODEUI (NodeManager) please?

New Contributor

I am trying to configure accessing the yarn logs through Knox and I saw with the latest version of Knox that I need to add the NODEUI topology to make that work.

I am trying the below topology but it does not seem to be working.

            <service>
                <role>NODEUI</role>
                <url>http://{{nm_host}}:{{nodeui_port}}</url>
            </service>

This will also link to a single nodemanager, which is not very practical. Any recommendations to get this working please?

@Theyaa Matti

There is no need of adding nodemanager service definition. you have to add below in your topology

<service>
<role>YARNUI</role>
<url>http://sandbox.hortonworks.com:8088</url>
</service>

The values for the host and port can be obtained from the following property in mapred-site.xml
<property>
    <name>yarn.resourcemanager.webapp.address</name>
    <value>sandbox.hortonworks.com:8088</value>
</property>
