Knox with NetIQ for SSO

avatar
Reader

Hi community,

For Knox SSO, is it possible to integrate with NetIQ to avoid users having to sign in to the Knox login page?

I'm a total noob with SSO technologies, so reaching out to hear if this has been done somewhere and how.

Thanks,

J.

Hi J, is NetIQ a SAML authentication mechanism? If yes, then the below link could be useful to you:

https://knox.apache.org/books/knox-1-4-0/user-guide.html#Pac4j+Provider+-+CAS+/+OAuth+/+SAML+/+OpenI...

Generally, Knox supports two types of identity providers:

  1. Authentication providers
  2. Federation providers

Does NetIQ fall under federation provider category? Please correct me if I'm wrong. Read more here:

Thanks,
Saurabh
