Master node dedicated devices

Hi, im setting up my first ambari hdp cluster, using spark, hbase and hive at least. I read in the docs that zookeeper transaction logs needs its own device (not just partition).

Two questions:

1. Is this requirement also true for ssds?

2. What other services need dedicated devices? I only see that i should use raid10, no mention of dedicated devices in the ambari docs...
