Mechanism level: Failed to find any Kerberos tgt

Hi Team,

when i run the command hdfs dfs -ls / i get the below error, please help.

ls: Failed on local exception: java.io.IOException: javax.security.sasl.SaslException: GSS initiate failed [Caused by GSSException: No valid credentials provided (Mechanism level: Failed to find any Kerberos tgt)]

Do you have Kerberos enabled in your cluster [1], if so you need to kinit with your credentials

 

 

[1] grep -A 1 hadoop.security.authentication /etc/hadoop/conf/core-site.xml

Kerberos authenticationis enabled. when i run 'kinit' i get below messages.

 

$ kinit
kinit: Client not found in Kerberos database while getting initial credentials
$ kinit -R
kinit: Credentials cache file '/tmp/krb5cc_16777224' not found while renewing credentials
$ kinit list
kinit: Client not found in Kerberos database while getting initial credentials
