Move Cloudera Navigator to a different host

New Contributor

Overall services which are managed via Cloudera Manager can be removed and installed via the Cloudera Manager GUI. This seems not to be the case for Cloudera Navigator, after it has been installed on one host there seems to be no option to move it to another host or remove it at all.

This leads to the following questions:

- Does Navigator has to be always colocated with Cloudera Manager? (the cluster setup wizard seems to indicate otherwise)
- Is there any way to move Navigator to a different host (or remove at all) after it has been installed?

@jwoschitz That’s the correct KB for migrating the Cloudera Navigator to different host. Thanks @Hanro .

If that resolves your issue, please spare some time in accepting the solution. Thanks.
