NIFI Cluster config issue

NIFI Cluster config issue

New Contributor

Hi Team,

I am configuring NIFI NCM and node on the same node.I am unable to find

nifi.cluster.is.manager* config in nifi.properties.When i try to add port and address with different port number,I am not able to start NIFI in UI mode.

Please suggest step by step approach to config clustering and how to integrate with HDP cluster.

Re: NIFI Cluster config issue

Hi @Sridhar M

I guess this is part of below question.

https://community.hortonworks.com/questions/67401/how-to-add-nife-as-a-service-to-existing-hdp-clust...

As pointed out HDP and HDF are 2 different stacks and cannot managed by same ambari server.

Let me know if that answers your question or your are looking for something else.

Hi Rahul,

Thanks for the update.I am clear that HDF & HDP are different stack and will not combine.

But my question was unanswered:

I want to config clustering of NIFI on two nodes.

1)Node1: NCM & slave

2)slave.

But i am unable to see any config parameters for NCM in nifi properties file.

I tired to add manager specific parameters with different ports& NIFI stopped working.

Please let me know exact steps to config clustering of nifi.

If clustering is not possible should i use standalone nifi on two nodes.
