Network Settings HDP 2.5

I am virtual box 5.1.8 with HDP 2.5. Somehow i lost all the network settings and now i am not able to make it work. I should be able to communicate with other computers on the same network both inbound and outbound. I did different settings nothing seems to be working. This is on Windows Server 2012. Sounds like trivial task but i couldn't find exact steps to fix this. Please only reply if were able to set up in your environment like i described. Below are my settings:

IP Range - 192.168.1.64 /253

Gateway /DHCP - 192.168.1.255

Subnet Mask - 255.255.255.0

looks like you not able set from local host Windows to Linux server.

Please share your out put of Local Service and Vm server :- ipconfig/ifconfig :- both .

Consider your Local IPv4 address as below On Windows Machine

$ ipconfig
Ethernet adapter VMware Network Adapter VMnet8:
   Connection-specific DNS Suffix  . :
   IPv4 Address. . . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.154.0
   Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . . : 255.255.255.0
   Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.0.1

Go to VM Machine changes exiting VMnet8 as below

Go To Vmware -> Edit -> Virtuwal Network Editor -> Change Settings(Required Administrator)

(Change below highlighted values)

Subnet IP = 192.168.154.0  Subnet Mask = 255.255.255.0

If you do following changes it may work, thank you.

This is not VMware, as i have described this in on Virtual Box. Please post steps for Virtual Box if you have used one.
