Never able to boot VM HDP 2.6 (Virtualbox) on Win 10

I have a windows 10 laptop, on which I have tried to start the HDP Sandbox 2.6 Virtualbox. The VM is booted, but is never completed. It stays in the blank/black screen with progress bar in the bottom and text as "CentOS Linux 7 (Core)". I don't see any error messages.

The RAM and CPU allocated to this VM are 8GB and 4 cpus.

Are you able to give some hints on this issue?
