Nifi Registry, securing Git integration

Nifi Registry, securing Git integration

New Contributor

Hi,

I am using nifi registry for versioning of my Nifi cluster. I am using the Git provider which pushes my changes to a particular repo. To do this I have configured the below in providers.xml:

p.p1 {margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; font: 11.0px Menlo; color: #000000; background-color: #ffffff} span.s1 {font-variant-ligatures: no-common-ligatures}

<flowPersistenceProvider>

<class>org.apache.nifi.registry.provider.flow.git.GitFlowPersistenceProvider</class>

<property name="Flow Storage Directory">.......</property>

<property name="Remote To Push">origin</property>

<property name="Remote Access User">.....</property>

<property name="Remote Access Password">.....</property>

</flowPersistenceProvider>

The above .... have been replaced by the actual values in my setup.

My question is, with the above approach I always end up pushing as the user on that particular box(where registry is installed). How can I make this configurable, as in take in the git credentials and push using that authenticated user only. Is there a away to do this?
