Nifi cluster state monitoring

hi, i need observe/monitor nifi cluster state. The problem is that we are not able to access nifi cluster state in ReportingTask

questions:

1. exist there way how to do it in ReportingTask ?

2. if is not possible, exist there way how to achieve our target, or kind of plugin, that is able publish it this cluster state or other metrics parameter over JMX ?

P.S. nifi rest api is not solution for us, we are looking for alternative way

@Peter Kotula The reporting task API does not have access to cluster details and is intended as a way for a nifi node to publish information it knows about itself. To monitor the health/status of the cluster the HTTP-based (REST) API is the intended mechanism. It would be interesting to hear why you're ruling that out.
