Nifi > help me compress a file of 80 MB which is to be send over the mail.

Hi All  

 I have a urgent requirement to send a file over mail but file size is too  large , i have used mergecontent/Compresscontent but was not able to send the file as putemail is displaying error

can you tell me how to proceed with the same or if there is any other processor do let me know.

80MB is not even close to what you can send with most mail providers.

I see two likely paths forward:

1. Figure out what you would need to do in general to compress the file sufficiently, and then we can see how this would translate into NiFi

2. If the above is simply not feasible, consider writing the file to a file storage (e.g. S3 or HDFS) and only mailing the link or path. Do give some thought to security of course.
