Oozie service won't start after install

New Contributor

I installed HDP 2.4.2 on a single-node configuration on Ubuntu, and after the install all services started except oozie. I get the error "Unauthorized connection for super-user: oozie from IP 127.0.0.1".

Here's the full startup log. Any ideas?

Re: Oozie service won't start after install

Hi ,

If issue is not resolved then try this:-

add “localhost” as a value to the property called “hadoop.proxyuser.oozie.hosts” into the file “/etc/hadoop/conf/core-site.xml” as shown bellow

<property>

<name>hadoop.proxuser.ozzie.hosts</name>

<value>127.0.0.1,localhost,hostname</value>

</property>
