Hello! I'm facing some problems while  trying to install pyarrow-0.9.0.

This is the command i used to install after downloading the package from https://pypi.org/project/pyarrow/0.9.0/:

/opt/cloudera/parcels/Anaconda-5.3.1/bin/python2.7 setup.py install

This is the error shown in the console:

To debug these problems, it would be good to have answers to the following questions:

  • Does /usr/local/include/arrow/python/platform.h exist?
  • Does setting export ARROW_HOME=/usr/local help?

avatar
Explorer

The path /usr/local/include/arrow/python/platform.h doesn't exist, I have only /usr/local/include/arrow/

exporting ARROW_HOME variable doesn't help

Then this could be an issue with the file permissions or the ownership.

Can you share the  /opt/cloudera/parcels/Anaconda-5.3.1/bin/python2.7 setup.py file contents ?

Attaching it could be a good idea.
