Ranger Service Repos not being automatically created by blueprint installation

We are creating a new cluster (cluster1) using a shared Ranger metastore database using Blueprints. In the new cluster, the ranger.plugin.<service>.service.name={{repo_name}} resolves to cluster1_hive, cluster1_hdfs, etc. However, these service repos are not being created in Ranger.

Is this expected behavior? Where do these usually get created? Will we need to create these manually in this case?

They are created during the component restart after ranger plugin is enabled. Check ambari console logs for the component (hdfs, hive etc) restarts to find out repo creation messages.
