Ranger service check failed

Ranger service check failed

New Contributor

I would like to upgrade the HDP from 2.4.2 to 2.5 and I am running all the service check. I found that the ranger service is failing with the following. We use proxy to connect and it seems that not able to pass the proxy information is causing the failure

2017-02-14 15:06:42,105 - Execute['curl -s -o /dev/null -w'%{http_code}' --negotiate -u: -k http://xxx:6080/login.jsp | grep 200'] {'logoutput': True, 'tries': 10, 'try_sleep': 3}
2017-02-14 15:08:48,669 - Retrying after 3 seconds. Reason: Execution of 'curl -s -o /dev/null -w'%{http_code}' --negotiate -u: -k http://xxx:6080/login.jsp | grep 200' returned 1.

Hi @bhavik shah, what happens when you give the following in browser: http://xxx:6080/login.jsp, where xxx is what you see in the rest call that was used for service check.
