After insert a new DataNode the first start of the RegionServer/ Hbase on this Client failed.
Is your cluster kerberized?
If the Ranger HBase plugin is enabled and set up to write to HDFS, Ambari's RegionServer startup script tries to access the hdfs.headless.keytab file. If the host that the RegionServer is running on does not also have the HDFS client installed, the hdfs.headless.keytab file will be absent and the RegionServer will fail to start with an error
Hi, the Cluster is not kerberized.
Ranger HBase Plugin is enabled. What is the location of hdfs.headless.keytab file?
with friendly regards
The default location of all keytabs in a kerberized cluster is /etc/security/ keytabs but if your cluster is not kerberized then your issue has nothing to do with kerberos.
Can you share the detailed log?
shame on me :-) I stopped all services on the node and reboot it. After that the RegionServer was restartet without Problem. Thnaks for help.
