What do you think about such idea: retailers send data about each transaction (what product was bought and it quantity) to a single data analytical tool for their aggregation and processing. Therefore, retailers will get ability to track in selected geographical location real time demand map, to make driven decisions (assortment optimization, micro-merchandising, consumer promotion, set right price for product in right time for right location), to see local and global trends and cut costs by understanding which products are relevant for needed locations. I think that if retailers from same regions provide a data for analysis, they will gain common goals: cost reduction and increasing competitive advantage. What is on your mind ?
