Your question is not clear on what you are trying to accomplish. The more detail you can provide on your use case, the better traction this thread will get in the community.
NiFi has numerous Syslog related components that can be used to work with syslog messages:
1. ListenSyslog processor
2. ParseSyslog processor
3. ParseSyslog5424 processor
4. PutSyslog processor
5. Syslog5424Reader controller service (Can be used bu numrous "record" based NiFi processors)
6. SyslogReader controller service (Can be used bu numrous "record" based NiFi processors)
