SQOOP Capacity Limitations

Hi,

I'm looking to migrate a large volume of data from Oracle into Hadoop and was told that SQOOP isn't normally used with volumes of data more than 10GB.  Does anyone know if this is correct or if there is a limitation for what SQOOP can handle (apologies, new to SQOOP).
