Service advisor/Stack advisor script behaves differently for Hbase Coprocessor related properties in hbase-site.xml

New Contributor

When recommending certain values to hbase.coprocessor.region.classes, hbase.coprocessor.regionserver.classes and hbase.coprocessor.master.classes using the stack_advisor.py OR a custom service_advisor.py, the set recommendation appends the value to the existing values, but does not unset the value again when the Set Recommended is clicked again.

Whereas for other properties in hbase-site.xml like hbase.rootdir OR hbase.regionserver.port if we append some value using set recommended it sets the value and if we click again it reverts to old value before set recommendation.

We tried the above thing with other configuration files like hbase-env, core-site, hive-site, mapred-site etc. and the set recommended works well i.e. Sets the recommended value when the Set Recommended button is clicked and Unsets it when clicked again.

So i just wanted to know whether this is an issue or a known behavior for properties related to Hbase Coprocessor like the ones specified above ( hbase.coprocessor.region.classes, hbase.coprocessor.regionserver.classes and hbase.coprocessor.master.classes )
