Sometimes this kind of error occurs with the default existing view instances and causes the error that you are getting as fllowing

Caused by: org.apache.ambari.server.ClusterNotFoundException: Cluster not found, clusterId=2

.

In order to fix it you should try creating a new "File View" instance by clicking on the "Create Instance" button on the File View. You can choose the default options to create the view instance (if it is not kerberized)

Re: Service 'hdfs' check failed:

Open your File view settings [admin->Manage ambari->Views->FILES (view name)->your view instance]. If this is the same Ambari used to deploy the cluster then in "Cluster configuration" select "Local Ambari Managed Cluster", and make sure the cluster name is matched. If this is a stand-alone Ambari used only for Views then select "Custom" and enter/make sure all settings are correct.

I see only " Files View" instance under Views --> Files. I have uploaded the screenshot for the same. Where exactly the suggested changes needs to be done.

Please advise.

Re: Service 'hdfs' check failed:

Click on "Files View" printed in blue. That's your FILES view instance. View configs are there.

I am also facing the same issue for "YARN Queue Manager". Is it okay to delete the default instance and recreate a new one?

Please advise.

Re: Service 'hdfs' check failed:

@Sachin Ambardekar

yes, there is no harm in deleting the default instance and recreate a new one, Because the FileView/ CapacityScheduler (also knows as "YARN Queue Manager") Views does not contain any user specific data.
