 You could try using --skip-broken to work around the problem 

You could try running: rpm -Va --nofiles --nodigest

I already have Mysql on that node for druid and superset. But it fails as it tries to install a different version.

@Timothy Spann Interesting. In all the tests I did I never personally tried two different versions of MySQL on the same box, I always used Postgres for Ambari/etc. and MySQL57 for SAM/etc. It makes sense though - you can't yum install two different versions of the same program as they'd overwrite each other - you'd have to compile it from source or put one of them in a docker or something.

Since , you already have an existing mysql installation new mysql version is causing the conflict . Please try one of below options.

1. Use the existing mysql instance for the installation.

2. Use any other external DB like postgres etc.
