Solr goes into bad health in Quick Start VM

Solr goes into bad health in Quick Start VM

In the quickstart VM, we have had instances were Solr shows Bad health. I believe atleast a cpuple of times it is because of rebooting the VM and then when the VM starts, Solr is already in a bad state.

Any ideas of what would cause this in the quickstart VM.

Hi Kannan.

The Quickstart VM has the problem that it doesn't shut down all services when the VM is shut down. So when it reboots, services can come up in any random order. This affects other services as well besides Solr sometimes (HBase e.g.).
