Some nodes have hadoop installed, some not. Why?

Some nodes have hadoop installed, some not. Why?

Explorer

During the service Installation phase with Ambari-server, encountered an error of

"/usr/hdp/current/hadoop-client/conf doesn't exist".

I've tracked down to the location/path and actually there is no such file/folder on the node where the error indicates.

Looking at other nodes setup exactly the same way, noticed that on these nodes the path /usr/hdp/current/hadoop-client/conf exists.

So, I wonder when the hadoop package has been installed and how I can bring it back to the node where it's missing.

I'm using Ubuntu 14. Found some similar questions but the answers were for CentOS and didn't resolve my issue.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

@Yu Song go to the hosts section in Ambari and go through each host individually and either reinstall clients or go to hdfs service and add datanodes.
