Sqoop: how to import rows that have null value in the --split-by column

Sqoop: how to import rows that have null value in the --split-by column

Expert Contributor

Hi everyone!

I found that Sqoop does not import rows that have null in the --split-by column, but I need to import all the rows.

Is there a solution to fix this? I am importing from Teradata using Cloudera Teradata connector.

Thanks for any information!

Hi @ludof

I don't know if the scoop command don't import the data that have a nul value in the split column! but I think if this is a true the solution is to change the column using in the --split-by by a non null column.

Good luck.
