Two Ambari instance one Ambari infra

Contributor

I am going to use two Ambari server, one for HDP another for HDF. However, the latest version of Ambari comes with LogSearch which needs Ambari infra (SolrCloud instance). Since I have two different instances of Ambari server in my cluster, is it possible to use the same Ambari infra instance for these two Ambari servers? Or I have to install two different Ambari infra as well?

It's always best to have Ambari Infra for each server. They are not huge.

You can do a separate cluster of Ambari Infra, I would be worried about keeping HDP and HDF at the same Ambari versions and interacting with Ambari Infra.

Hi @Ali Nazemian, For the Ambari 2.4 Technical Preview of LogSearch, you'll need to deploy an instance of Ambari Infra in each cluster, since LogSearch assumes an internal SolrCloud instance that is local to the cluster.
