Unable to Connect to Spark2 from Tableau

Explorer

I am trying to connect to Spark2 from Tableau. I was able to connect to Spark1 using the Hortonworks Spark ODBC Driver (64 bit version) with the port number 10015. Now, I am trying to connect to Spark2 running on the same cluster. It has port number 10016 but i get an error saying: "[Hortonworks][Hardy] (34) Error from server: connect() failed: errno = 10061." Not sure how to resolve this. Can someone please give me pointers?

Re: Unable to Connect to Spark2 from Tableau

The 32-bit Windows ODBC driver worked for me on Spark2 in HDP-2.5.3. Firest, make sure you can connect to your Spark-2 Thrift server using beeline from another cluster machine. Then create a new Data source, provide all information and try "Test". Also make sure you have no network issues, like a firewall blocking port 10016 on your Thrift server.
